A Message From Nadia:
Reaching out takes courage. In the wise words of Arthur Ashe: “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.”
I work with teens, adults, and couples navigating ADHD, burnout, trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. My goal is to create a grounded, affirming space where you can move at your own pace, feel understood, and work toward what matters most to you.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, caring, and capable individuals who are carrying more than others realize. You may find yourself struggling with self criticism, perfectionism, people pleasing, difficult relationship patterns, or the feeling that you’re constantly holding everything together while quietly feeling exhausted inside.
Together, we can explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, and emotional wounds may be shaping your relationships with yourself and others. We can make sense of relationship dynamics, challenges with boundaries, and the tension between who you are and who you feel you should be, with a focus on building a life that feels meaningful, not just manageable. I often incorporate somatic and polyvagal informed approaches to help clients move beyond simply understanding their experiences and begin noticing how stress, trauma, and emotions show up in the body. This can support greater self awareness, emotional regulation, and a stronger sense of safety and connection.
I also support individuals navigating ADHD, substance use concerns, trauma, and major life transitions. My practice is LGBTQ2SIA+ affirming and attentive to the ways identity, relationships, masculinity, and women’s health experiences can shape emotional wellbeing.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, psychodynamic approaches, and nervous system informed therapies.
Outside of therapy, I’m a writer and artist who spends a lot of time thinking about how people make meaning in their lives. I practice yoga and martial arts, love spending time in nature, and believe that connection is often where healing begins.
